1. Acceptance
By downloading, accessing, or using PalPanel, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. If you use PalPanel for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be old enough to consent to digital services under the law where you live. If you are not, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these terms. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of PalPanel complies with applicable law and your agreements with others.
3. What PalPanel provides
PalPanel turns your phone or tablet into remote-control panels for 13 types of household devices, including air conditioners, televisions, and projectors. Commands are sent as IR codes through a separately obtained compatible Bluetooth IR blaster. Without the accessory connected, panels cannot send commands to appliances.
The built-in IR library covers many brands and models, but devices, firmware, and environments differ. We do not guarantee that every IR code set will be compatible with your equipment.
4. Limited license
Subject to these terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use PalPanel for non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control. All rights in the app, interface, branding, code, and related content remain with us or the relevant rights holders.
5. Your devices, rooms, and accessories
You are responsible for the devices you add, rooms you configure, and accessories you connect. Only control appliances you own, manage, or are expressly authorized to operate, and verify the device state and surrounding safety before sending a command. Device names, room names, code sets, and panel states are stored locally as described in the Privacy Policy.
Compatible Bluetooth IR blasters are manufactured and sold by third parties and, unless a purchase page expressly says otherwise, are not included with the PalPanel download or Premium subscription. The applicable seller or manufacturer is responsible for the accessory purchase, quality, warranty, and support.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- control equipment you are not authorized to operate, interfere with another person's devices, or endanger people, property, or public safety;
- use PalPanel for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, harassing, or security-circumvention purposes;
- disrupt the app or services or gain unauthorized access to networks, systems, or data;
- copy, rent, sell, redistribute, decompile, or reverse-engineer the app or protocols except where applicable law expressly permits it; or
- remove copyright, trademark, or other rights notices from the app.
7. Auto-renewal, cancellation, and refunds
PalPanel Premium is available as auto-renewing weekly, monthly, and yearly plans. The price, currency, trial, and offer eligibility shown by Apple App Store before confirmation control and may vary by region.
- Payment is charged to your Apple account when you confirm the purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can cancel in your Apple account subscription settings. Access continues until the paid period ends.
- Apple's rules govern refunds, billing disputes, and purchase revocation; requests should be submitted to Apple.
- After reinstalling the app or changing devices, use “Restore Purchase” on the Premium page to synchronize active access under the same Apple account.
When a subscription ends, existing local device data is not proactively deleted, but free-version limits apply again and restricted panels remain unavailable until you resubscribe. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights available to you by law.
8. Third-party services and links
PalPanel relies on operating-system features, Apple App Store / StoreKit, and Bluetooth, and may offer external links for accessory purchases, sharing, or reviews. Those services are independently operated and their availability, content, transactions, and information practices are governed by their own terms. A link does not mean we guarantee a third-party product or service.
9. Updates, availability, and termination
We may release fixes, security updates, or feature changes. Some functions may require the latest version for security and compatibility. The app or individual functions may be temporarily unavailable because of networks, platform policies, device compatibility, maintenance, or events beyond our control.
You may stop using and uninstall PalPanel at any time. If you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, create a safety risk, or we are legally required to act, we may reasonably limit access to related services. Provisions that by their nature should survive—including intellectual-property, liability, and dispute provisions—remain effective after use ends.
10. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PalPanel is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that the app will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with every appliance, IR code set, or third-party accessory. PalPanel is not a substitute for original appliance safety controls, emergency controls, or physical inspection. Use remote functions only in a safe environment.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss arising from use of or inability to use PalPanel. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for PalPanel in the 12 months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so they apply only to the extent permitted there.
12. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms as the product, law, or our operations change. We will provide an in-app notice or another appropriate advance notice for material changes and revise this page accordingly. Continued use after the update takes effect means you accept it; if you do not, you may stop using PalPanel.
These terms are governed by the law where the service operator is established, without excluding mandatory consumer protections where you live. If a dispute arises, both sides should try to resolve it in good faith. Your right to approach a court or consumer authority with jurisdiction is not affected.
